Our Silicone Caulk is designed for prep and details. Perfect for use around flashings, edges, seams, and other detail work, this silicone caulk rounds out any roofing project.

Available in: White, Tan, and Gray, in 10 oz. caulk tubes. Each box contains 12 caulk tubes.

Application: Use a caulk gun to apply 100% Silicone Caulk.

Details

Our 100% Silicone Caulk is a professional grade, medium-modulus silicone caulk designed for various roofing and joint applications. It can be used as a prepping material prior to applying our 100% Silicone Roof Coating, and as a repair product should you experience any issues with your roof coating.

Storage and Shelf Life: Our 100% Silicone Caulk has a recommended shelf life of 12 months from the date of manufacture when stored in unopened containers between 50°F and 80°F. Refer to product packaging for date of manufacture.

Application

Prep: Prior to starting your roofing project, prep the roof by power-washing, removing dirt and debris, and making any necessary repairs. Ensure roof is completely dry prior to applying silicone. For more detailed preparation instructions, view our Technical Resources page.

Mix: This product does not need to be mixed, but needs to be warm enough to flow.

Application: Use a caulk gun to apply our Silicone Caulk directly to seams, penetrations, and other detail areas. Smooth out with a finger or putty knife.

Equipment: Caulk gun.

Cure Time: Our silicone caulk typically cures through in 6-12 hours, and is tack-free in 30 minutes to 1 hour. The thicker this product is applied, the longer the curing process will take.

Weather Restrictions: Our 100% silicone caulk should not be applied when temperatures are below 20°F or above 120°F. In cold-weather applications, material should be kept indoors until immediately before application. It is also recommended that you do not apply this material while rain is falling. Rain will not cause Silicone Caulk to wash off, but the substrate will become wet and will negatively impact adhesion.
