Progressive Materials, LLC works with contractors throughout the United States. We partner with local non-profits in many of these markets in an attempt to give back to the communities we operate in.
Habitat for Humanity
We had the opportunity to work with the New Albany Habitat for Humanity this July. We framed nearly an entire house, interior and exterior walls. This was a great cause for a great family and we plan on giving back in this way again in the future.
If you have skills with a hammer or any other construction application, we encourage you to help out this great organization. Once you meet the families, you’ll be glad you did.
Golf for Good Kids Camp
This Kids to Camp Golf Classic helps as many as 1600 children in the San Francisco area to attend summer camps held by the YMCA. Select this link to learn how this event helps children. The golf classic raised over $200,000 that is used to hold summer camps for kids in the Bay Area. The camps help under-privileged children experience the joys and lessons of sports.
Casa Hogar Victoria
Casa Hogar orphanage located in Necaxa, Pueble Mexico is home to dozens of young children. Progressive Materials donated roofing materials to significantly improve their existing roof system and greatly to reduce the humidity and mold problems the buildings were experiencing.
Make a Wish Foundation
We ran a campaign during March of 2014 to help support a cause very dear to us: the Make a Wish Foundation. For each new Facebook Like and Twitter follower, we donated $1 to the Make a Wish Foundation. This was a new idea for us and something we’d like to continue in the future and see it grow.
