We manufacture two types of silicone coatings. Our HS 3200 Series High Solids, Low VOC Silicone Roof Coating is our “Green” one-component, moisture-curing silicone rubber roof coating system designed for use on existing smooth BUR, granulated cap sheet, concrete, metal, and various single ply roofing membranes. This coating is specially designed to be very low VOC, meaning it can be used without fear of harmful chemicals that other coatings contain.
Why do you need a Low VOC Silicone Roof Coating?
As mentioned above, VOC content in other companies’ materials are often at dangerous levels. These VOC elements are required to be below a certain threshold to be used in California. While other states haven’t caught up to California’s more stringent requirements, all of our products meet the California requirements. The Silicone Roof Coating Restoration System we manufacture provides a durable, waterproof, cost effective, and sustainable roofing solution for industrial and commercial structures. This low VOC silicone roof coating offers long term protection by withstanding weathering, aging, oxidation, wind-driven sand, rain, snow, and the effects of ozone and ultraviolet radiation.
Benefits of our Silicone RCR System
The Silicone Roof Coating Restoration System eliminates the need for removal of the existing roof adding a remarkable cost savings for any size project. With its high solids content and absence of hydrocarbon solvents, this coating can be applied in excess of 40 mils in a single coat without blistering, while maintaining maximum adhesion.
The HS 3200 series low VOC silicone roof coating is available in four standard colors including, white, tan, light gray, and dark gray (custom colors available upon request). This material is packaged in 55 gallon drums and 5 gallon buckets accommodating the needs of any size roofing project.
