There are also some nice advantages that accompany the decision to re-roof rather than completely replace a roof.

- No tear-out, no dumpster or dump fees.
- Fewer liabilities for the contractor. Because the scope of the project is decreased, so are the liabilities the contractor would face.
Whether you think you will re-roof or perform an entire metal roof replacement, be sure to contract a quality contractor to give you some advice before making a decision, and consider using them to perform the work. The money you spend on contractor’s fees will likely outweigh the costs associated with that contractor.
